heat rash

it gets hot
out here
and some of us
want to leave
some of us
just got
back
and some of us
aren't sure
just where in the hell
we really are

it gets hot

between the sun and the sweat
I feel them
every single pair of lips
that has touched me
and tortured me
again
over time

I want to bar the doors

I want to hide from the light
